Jiangsu Software Park is a national software industry base named by National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Information Industry, and also a Torch Plan software industry base named by Ministry of Science and Technology. Approved by Jiangsu provincial government, this industrial base is covered by preferential policies on high-tech development zones of state level as well as on the development of software and integrated circuit industries. Over the 5 years, the Park has been developed into a flagship for Jiangsu and Nanjing¡¯s software industry and also an important platform to construct Nanjing as a ¡°famous software city¡±. Now 480 firms are registered and over 16,000 workers are employed in the Park. In 2005 total sales were RMB 13 billion, including RMB 7 billion from software. A complete range of applied and embedded software on such sectors as power, communication, finance and security etc. have been generated.
As a result of urban construction, Jiangsu Software Park was relocated to JNDZ and some sizeable software firms also moved here. A state-controlled joint venture between Jiangsu Software Industry Joint Stock Company and Nanjing Xincheng Development Joint Stock Company, Jiangsu Xingyuan Software Park Development & Construction Limited is established as approved by the provincial government to enlarge and strengthen Jiangsu Software Park and to build it into a software base and software export base of state level. Incorporated in June 2004 with registered capital of RMB 50 million, the JV is positioned to be a ¡°regional developer¡± which promotes the development concepts of ¡°industrial ecology, residential vigor and balanced continuity¡± and which is devoted to commercialized regional development and urbanization. Currently its business range includes regional development, primary land development, industrial property development and operation, and property management etc.
The Creation Center Project
The Creation Center is located at 55 Jiangjun Road, JNDZ Nanjing, covering 19,800m2 and with total floorage of 55,000m2. Merely 17km away from Lukou International Airport, the Center is the No.1 office building in Jiangning District and is integrated with other official buildings such as the Administrative Committee of JNDZ, Nanjing Customs Jiangning Office and Nanjing Commercial Inspection Jiangning Office etc. In addition, the Center also has access to other matching facilities like the ¡°Hanfu Mountain ¨C Jiangjun Mountain ¨C Cuiping Mountain¡± villa area, the 5-star Hubin Jinling Hotel, Yinxinghu Golf Court and Bailuhu Vacation Village etc. Upon its completion, the Center will be the administrative hub of Jiangsu Software Park and provide such functions as construction and administration, merchant invitation and demonstration, and comprehensive services etc. for the Software Park and Jishan Base. By then, relevant organs such as the Administrative Committee of Jiangsu Software Park, the Administrative Office of Jishan Base and the Office for Development of Jiangning Software Industry etc. will be based in this Center. Furthermore, the Center will also provide commercial services such as product exhibition, conference and forum etc. for JNDZ. |
